Oh, I have to catch up a lot …
So, here it is … Op.15 No.1 „Von fremden Ländern und Menschen“ or „from foreign parts“
Althouth, the sheet is just one side in total, I choose this piece for 2 reasons.
Firstly, my one-year-playing-piano-anniversary was only 3 weeks away and I needed a „quicky“. And secondly, I always wanted to learn something with lots of triplets and this piece was perfect for getting familiar with them.
It turned out – surprisingly – that the timing of the triplets were no problem at all, but I think it was difficult to remember the notes, because the triplet have to be played partially by the left and by the right hand.
The performance was recorded after about 3 weeks …
